The original Clash kernel is no longer updated; its Meta fork lives on as mihomo, still under active development. That's why the "kernel" column largely determines new protocol support and long-term viability. Maintenance status only has two tiers—actively maintained or discontinued—with a note for any project that updates unusually slowly.
